Not much happening in the wild wild West

Well, not much has been happening , but we've still been fairly busy with just the day to days of life. Plus i've been annoyed with blogger, as you might have guessed from my last post. Hopefully it will play nicely for me today? it's looking promising.

I do remember ages ago, i said i'd show you our day from "sculpture by the sea" in Cottesloe Beach.

It was a great day, except for the trouble in trying to get some lunch... I had brought lunchboxes for everyone with snacks and such, but had planned for a nice treat of fish and chips on the beach...didn't happen :(

The first place we went to looked promising, ordered our lunch "no sorry our EFTPOS is down, there is an ATM next door in the pub" So thinking it was just inside (like she said!) i left Samuel and Lily in charge and at the table, dashed across the road into the pub - no ATM - 'creeped' through the restaurant - still no ATM, looking high and low, finally discovered reception "Oh, our ATM is broken, you'll have to go to the convenience store...about 500m that way" even further away! so i headed back to the children, cancelled our order, picked up all our stuff that had fallen over when Sophie had hopped out of the pram, and headed down the road, passed another fish and chip shop, but everything was unacceptable for the children, so kept plodding  down the road. finally got to the convenience store "no we don't have an ATM" you can get cash out if you buy something" i guess luckily they also sold sandwiches, so instead of fish and chips, Samuel and I eventually had a salad roll while the girls all had a muffin, because they certainly wouldn't have eaten a salad roll! Bonus time, we were across the road from a beautiful shady park (W.A rarity) so we spent  a lovely lunch hour there. Enough of the drama, lets get a look at the photos right! :D

how cute!!

love this shot!!

"trying" to be arty

This was wet sand! i wonder whether someone had just made it, or whether someone had a mould and was randomly placing them along the beach??

I love how the wind has given Claire an "80's" hairdo!

Remember my new favourite photo? This is the sculpture we got the shot from.

I thought these were very clever. They were called "Sea Enemies"made from plastic bags and other plastic rubbish, and were laid out how sea anemones would be grouped together.

I took 100 photos at least that day but i won't bore you with them all, besides it seems blogger is starting to struggle under the 'weight' of all these photos anyway,

So i will sign off.
till next time
