Day 1 part 2!

Where were we?......

ah yes the real estate agent, so i dash into the R/E agents sort it all out, dash around the corner to drop off the toy library toys and we are officially on our way!! WaHOO!!

Off we plod eventually getting to Mission Beach for our first night, pouring with rain most of the time, as we pull into MB we are keeping an eye out for "the BIG Cassowary" but not seeing it anywhere, so we find the Council run C'van Park - and we get a site - doesn't work well with the trucks power supply so we ask for a new location, rain is getting heavier by now, and children are MISERABLE and COLD, dashing around,like a mad thing trying to sort out  beds and shelter discovering we forgot to pack camp lights! and what else do we discover???? the Truck canopy leaks! wet mattress, miserable children, stubborn mama.... recipe for disaster! by now it's dark and another qtr hour perseverance and a reality check from Jamie and we chuck everything back in the truck and head off to the closet motel we can find, the children are all REALLY MISERABLE and all starving as its past 7 we find a little place (still POURING) practically THROW the children into the shower and guess what we have (FINALLY) for dinner,... Jatz bikkies, laughing cow cheese(a cream cheese triangle), cheese slices, sultanas and a tin of tuna! oh yeah and some choccy! ;D

So next morning, mostly refreshed and still miserable we headed out of Mission Beach and da da da dahhhh!

I've been trying to add photos but  my internet connection is crap at the moment so i'm hoping it will be better tomorrow!!  YAY ! love  good reception! have added photo!
